What is the periodicity of other AFD-I purchases like TV/AC/Fridge/Mobiles/ Laptops/Desktops/ Washing M/c & Two Wheelers etc?
As on date, it is once in four years from the date of last purchase. The periodicity is reviewed periodically by O/o DDGCS which shall be applicable from time to time.
Is there any minimum service requirement as in car for other AFD-I items?
“NO”, all category of canteen smartcard holders as stated below are entitled to purchase other AFD-I items irrespective of service period.
Who all are entitled for other AFD-I items (viz) Two Wheeler, Fridge, Washing Machine, T.V, AC, Mobiles, Laptops & Desktops etc.?
Following category of canteen smartcard holders are authorized for other AFD-I items:-
- (a) Serving Armed Forces personnel.
- (b) Retired Armed Forces personnel.
- (c) Serving Defence Civilians only.
What is the latest policy on purchase of four wheeler through CSD?

Why can’t I pay through Payment Gateway / Online Payment when I have opted for a loan?
For loan cases, the loan amount have to be transferred to CSD HO Main Account through RTGS/NEFT by the bank only and balance amount to be made only through the payment gateway from the individual’s account.
Dealer Price is filled but still the error is showing, “Billing dealer price is required filed.”?
The “Dealer Price” has to be exactly the same as the “Net price to be Paid”.
Can I change the pre-filled details in checkout form?
“NO”, as all these details are picked from the registration form that the user filled while registration. Please contact DDGCS helpdesk (afd.csdindia.gov.in) any update & further query.
Can I buy a second car through AFD Portal within 5 years of buying the first car, if I transfer the first one to my family member’s name?
“NO”. The AFD-I item will be used for personal use only and will not be sold/ transferred before completion of four years from date of purchase for other AFD-I items ( for four wheelers — five years). The car cannot be transferred to anyone before completing 5 years of purchase. Next purchase shall be eligible only after completing Eight year time gap from the date of last purchase.
When can I buy the same category product again?
Any product of the same kind can be bought only once in the specified period. Kindly contact CS Directorate (afd.csdindia.gov.in) for more information.
Why do I get this alert, “You are not entitled to purchase the selected care”?
There are three entitlement categories(Officers, JCO, OR) and every category has a different Pay Level. If any user is getting the above said message then the user must choose a different product of lower value within their allowed limit.
What if I forget my login password?
You can reset your password using “lost your password” on login page. For further query contact CSD @ afd.csdindia.gov.in
Why can’t I login after registration? or Why my login details are invalid after registration?
Users will be notified on registered email address & mobile number after administrator’s approval. Login account will remain invalid till approval. For further info contact CSD @ afd.csdindia.gov.in.
Why do I get this alert, “Email already exists”?
There is an username that is already registered with the same email id.
Why do I get this alert, “User Name already exists”?
The username entered has already been registered. Please choose different username.
Why do I get this alert, “Chip Number already exists”?

What are mandatory documents for registering at CSD-AFD Portal?

I am a dependent pensioner drawing my pension. And user of csd card. While registering the card it show all valid except pan. Pan invalid. While in the register it shows correct. The mistake Done in server. I frequently csd whattsapp no. Provided all details since one month they keep asking the same details. Unable to purchase a refrigerator.

Good afternoon sir,
I had purchased two wheeler from CSD add online portal and I am fully satisfied with the quick and paperless procedure.
I have a complaint regarding the authorised dealer as I have paid online cost of Rs 73499.00(Suzuki access special edition) as per the CSD online cost but the dealer takes RS 1500.00 extra in the name of revised cost of September which is not true as I verified.
Please do the system clear as always dealer as for some extra amount in the name of revised cost.
